Located on nine acres in the heart of the Connecticut River Valley – and just off I-91 – and with its 225-year-old blue-trimmed, yellow farmhouse and sunset views of Mt. Ascutney, In The Garden Greenhouses is now offering a unique floral setting to host your rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony or reception in either its charming red barn or its more than two acres of floral gardens … or both.
Products and services offered in 2019 are:
- Indoor Event Hosting in an 18th century red barn with high vaulted ceilings, original beams, extra-wide Colonial floor boards, large cupola and rooster weather vane, excellent for bridal showers, rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions. Seats 50. Currently featured on SooNipi magazine.
- Outdoor Event Hosting in over two acres of blooming flower gardens with a backdrop of Mt. Ascutney and a landscaped farmhouse.
- Mt. Ascutney, a flower field, perennial beds large and small, an apple tree, a tire swing in a large maple and much more awaits your photographer’s eye. The wisteria blooms mid to late June. Flower field is in full bloom July to September. Mums, asters and pumpkins available in Fall.
- Boutonnieres, corsages, headpieces, even centerpieces cut from our flower field.
- Live Centerpieces. Vibrant, plush will last outside till a frost.
- Succulent Centerpieces. Unique, diverse, beautiful, live and will last (indoors) through the winter.
- Planters and Hanging Baskets floral decorations (Spring and Summer), designed on site. Mums, Asters, Kale and more (Fall).
Catering, alcohol, music, photos, videos, cake, decorating and various other products and services are welcome, but not offered directly by In The Garden for 2019. We can coordinate such services with you.
Reservations can now be made for July 2019 and beyond.
